Hie one bright moment in the otherwise thoroughly depressing behavior of Messrs. Estes, Gilkey, and TiStham in failing to second and carry the common sense and clearly presented motion of Mr. Clarence Baldwin to abandon the foolhardy scheme to condemn the Margolis property on Route 821 in the Hampton District for the purpoee of a landfill was the understanding shown by Mr. Baldwin.
He had done what concerned dtisens of Rappahannock have every right to aspect of men elected by them to handle the job of protecting and, where possible, improving the life of citizens of this beautifal county. Hie facts printed in two advertisements in the News and numerous other summations which accompanied them would convince a careful reader that the thousands spent already by the citizens
