Lelia Noyes Lucas will celebrate Hie, art and the 76th anniversary of St. Albans School all at the same time this weekend with the opening of an exhibit of her paintings at the Middle St Gallery in Washington.
It will be the final showing for the venerable mistress of Huntly's Wakefield Manor. “My blindness has progressed very fast lately,” said the 86year-old artist. "I’m afraid I’m not going to be able to do another painting.’
