The new architect for the center will be present at the groundbreaking site. Hired in December, 1984 when the original design proved too expensive and had construction problems, the architect has enlarged the community room to make it more useful.
Although construction of that room won’t begin until additional funds are raised, the architect designed the building to include it. When completed, the community room will be used by school groups during the day and by coummunity groups during weekends and week nights. Board members hope the room will provide a source of income for the center.
