In the Elementary Division of the National French Contest, sixth grader Charles Manning of Huntly placed fifth in the nation in Division iSvo. Honorable Mentions were awarded to second grader Colleen Harrell of Haymarket, fifth grader Laura Larimer of Front Royal and sixth grader Malcom McCurry of Strasburg. The students in the Elementary Division were taught by Margaret Wood who expressed great pleasure with her students’ results.
