Xerox Corp. staged the public debut last week of plans for Potomac Park, the multibillion-dollar development it plans on 2,300 acres east of Leesburg.
Billed as a briefing for the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission, which must review the rezoning proposal, the presentation last Wednesday night gave Xerox planners and officials their first chance to woo citizens who answered special invitations to the event.
At the forefront was William Thomas, renowned state lobbyist and advisor to Gov. Charles S. Robb, attorney for Xerox and a key figure in establishing the Center for Innovative Technology in Loudoun near Dulles International Airport.
