Drug ‘kingpin’ gets

Before a federal judge sentenced marijuana “kingpin” Christopher F. Reckmeyer II Friday to serve 17 years in prison without the possibility of parole, the 33-year-old apologized for his “wrongs to society.”
“I’m not an evil man and I never intended to harm anyone,” said the former owner of historic Loudoun estate Shelburne Glebe.
Reckmeyer then told U.S. District Court Judge James C. Cacheris that he never had any drug ring headquarters at his “family farm.”
“My family means more to me than anything. Millions of dollars cannot make up for any days” of absence from them. He recalled “how it meant everything” to him to have his family watch him play football at McLean’s
