Schools and the School Board members do to uphold the school laws and get these students back into the class rooms and to halt this "demonstration” or “strike” against actions of the governing body? Nothing, as far as I can determine.
How many parents had to keep their children home that day rather than have them subjected to this disorder and surrender of leadership by teachers, administrators and board members alike?
When School Board members rubber stamp everything that the Superintendent and principals do or want, the eventual outcome is sure: they entrap themselves in serious personal legal difficulties. I et the fate of the Superintendent and board members in Halifax County recently bear witness to my warning!
