Joseph Louis Ruffo, charged with possession of marijuana, was placed on probation for a year by Judge John Alexander in General District Court on Tuesday. Ruffo was eligible for the probation because the possession charge was his first drug related offense. As long as Ruffo abides by the terms of his probation and violates no laws during the next 12 months, the case will be dismissed on May 20, 1986. Other cases decided Tuesday included:
