Sarah does .have some friends who save coupons, boxes and labels for her, and her husband has helped her clip coupons at times. “I’m always learning new ways to work with the coupons,” Sarah said. She also has received some assistance from Amanda. “Amanda got a set of new play cans for Christmas, and one day I looked and she had taken all of the labels off,” Sarah said. “I asked her why she had done that, and she said that she had taken them off to save for me.”
Sarah sometimes asks her friends why they are not using coupons in their magazines or papers, and they say that they do not have the time for coupons. “We tried to * start a coupon club in the county, but we couldn’t get enough people who were interested and would devote some time to it,” Sarah said. “That’s like not having time to stop and pick up money off of the street.”
