Last Sunday Supervisor Nelson Lane discovered that a bucket of nails had been spilled onto his driveway. It was a thorough job. Somebody took the time to spread the nails around an entire portion of the driveway.
We can’t be certain about the motive, but it is a good bet that the stupid deed was linked in someway to the school budget issue. The action was probably somebody’s idea of a protest-a way to get back at Lane for not coming down on the right side of the budget issue.
