Carving Lessons
Woodcarving lessons for beginners will be offered at Colvin Run Mill Park on June 2 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Members of the Northern Virginia Carvers Club will provide instruction and tools at no cost. There is a small fee for pieces of wood already cut into outline shapes of small animals, birds and decoys. For more information, call 5341845 or 560-1447.
The park is on Route 7 in Fairfax County, five miles west of Tysons Corner.
