Hubert Arraon Dennis, age 42, of Washington, died on Monday, May 20 in Warren County.
Son of the late William McKinley and Phyllis Dennis of Washington, he was a farm laborer, yard worker and gardener.
Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Armentra Jackson and Miss Virginia D. Dennis, both of Lanham, Md., Ruth Freeman of Wilmington, Delaware and Barbara Lou Shanks of Washington; four brothers, William McKinley Dennis of Washington, D.C^, John T. Dennis and Ernest M. Dennis, both of Washington, Va. and Cleve D. Dennis of Bowling Air Force Base in Washington, D.C.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 24 at 2 p.m. at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Washington by the Rev. Wendell Grant of Marshall.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
Thomas Stringfellow
Amissville Resident
Thomas Raymond Stringfellow, 54, of Amissville died on Thursday, May 16 at his residence.
Mr. Stringfellow was a native of Culpeper County and an employee of Augusta Lumber Company at Amissville.
Survivors include three brothers, Frank Stringfellow of Washington, Robert Stringfellow and Bernard Stringfellow, both of Amissville; three sisters, Carrie Stringfellow, Edna Thomas and Edith Stringfellow, all of Amissville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. Clyde Woodard. Burial was at Hillcrest Memory Gardens at Jeffersonton.
Pallbearers were James Colvin, Warren Fairfax, Wayne Woodard, Robert Embrey, Tye Dovell, Carl Weaver, Edwin King and Scott Embrey.
Fenwick L. Bowey
Railroad Machinist
Fenwick L. Bowey, 74, of Amissville, died Wednesday, May 22 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Born in South Carolina on July 14, 1910, he was the son of the late Richard and Amanda King Bowey. He was a machinist for the railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Bowey of Amissville.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25 at Amissville Baptist Church at 11 a.m., the Rev. Steven Parker, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Pallbearers named are Nelson Burner, Eddie Hitt, Jim Woodard, Stanley Settle, Charles Griffith and Graham Hackley.
