Applications will be accepted through June 4. A fee of $15 is charged for the battery of five tests and $3 for each re-test. Applicants who apply must present their Social Security card or another means of identification when an application is made for GED.

Mrs. Dorothy L. Jackson was given a surprise birthday party by her daughters, Hattie Jackson, Dorothy Starks and Dollie Atkins on May 12.
Guests attending the celebration were Otha Gatewood, Melissa and Frances Gatewood, Lewis and Michael Atkins, Stephanie, Stacy and Jerome Atkins, Christine Jackson, Mrs. Mary Frances Dunn, Gilbert Smith, his family and friends.
