Despite Hall’s protests, the BZA approved the special use permit after conducting an on-site inspection April 24. One month later the Halls filed their suit, which includes: 1) a petition for a writ of certiorari (a request that the BZA’s decision be reviewed), and 2) a bill of complaint for declaratory judgment, injunctive relief, damages and attorney’s fees.
