Former Teacher

Dr. George Edward Graham, Jr., 38, of Boston, Massachusetts, formerly of Front Royal, died Thursday, May 23 in New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by Dr. Homer Cornish and the Rev. Paul Phillips. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Front Royal.

Dr. Graham was bom July 20, 1946, in Front Royal, a son of Marguerite Armel Graham of Front Royal and the late George E. Graham, Sr. He was senior curriculum editor of HoughtonMifflin Publishing and a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army.

He graduated from William and Mary College and received his master’s degree and doctorate in education from the University of Virginia. He was a former teacher at Rappahannock , County Elementary School
