Laura Crowne is currently the executive and artistic director of the Moving Arts Center, Inc., a non-profit organization she founded in Fauqueir County in 1979.
As well as teaching, choreographing and administrating, she is currently dancing with Sally Nash and The Last Minute Wood Company. Her background includes years of study in New York with Nenette Charisse, Finis Jhung, Dan Wagoner and Carol Conway. She performed in New York' with Candice Christakos and Molissa Fenley.
Laura Crowne and Company has been performing in and around the Fauquier County and D.C. area for years and is supported in part by the Virginia Commission for the Arts.
