Bloodmobile
The Red Cross Bloodmobile will make a special, one-time visit to the National Guard Armory on Waterloo Road in Warrenton on Thursday, May 30 between the hours of noon and 6 p.m.
This special appearance at the armory will be the final visit of the Bloodmobile in Warrenton in this fiscal year, which ends June 30, for the Red Cross. If enough donors show up to reach the goal of 90 units, the Fauquier Chapter will be in a good position to surpass last year’s total of slightly more than 1000 units collected. There will be one more Bloodmobile in the chapter’s area this fiscal year, at Vint Hill on June 7, the goal for which is 100 units.
Art Show And Auction
Retired Supreme Court Justice Arthur Goldberg will be guest auctioneer June 15 at an art show and auction sponsored by Hospice of Fauquier. A 7 p.m. wine and cheese preview will preceed the auction at 8 p.m. in the Warrenton National Guard Armory.

Attention Children: Sign Up DAD
Baldwin’s Grocery in Washington and the Virginia Cattlewomen will promote “Beef For Father’s Day”. County children are urged to sign up their father to win a five-pound rib roast at Baldwin’s. Sign-up time will be June 1-14 and the drawing on Friday night, June 14.

To Hold Fun Fair
Paxton is pleased to announce the appearance of the band, “Wild Turkey” at their fourth annual fun fair on Saturday, June 1. The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with carnival games, pony rides, hay rides, a giant indoor flea market and craft sale, a fashion show by Adele’s and a chicken barbecue. Paxton Child Development Center is a non-profit child care center located at 320 North King Street in Leesburg.
