Business bankruptcies in Virginia declined 6.2 percent last year, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The decline reflected the favorable economic conditions in Virginia, said Catherine S. Marschall, director of SBA’s Richmond office.
Business bankruptcies in the state totaled 1,328 last year, compared to 1,416 in 1983.
