The United States Achievement Academy recently announced that Julie Burke has been named a 1984 United States National Award winner in speech and drama.
This award is a prestigious honor very few students can ever hope to attain. The Academy recognizes less than 10 percent of all American high school students.
Burke, who attends Rappahannock County High School, was nominated for this award by Donald Bomberger, the drama coach at RCHS. Burke will appear in the United States Achievement Academy Official Yearbook, published nationally.
