Mr. and Mrs. William Camgan of Rappahannock were recognized - Mrs. Carrigan as being a past regent of a Washington, D.C. chapter and wife of Mr. Carrigan. He was proudly wearing his medal of honor presented to him by the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter NSDAR in 1984 for his many contributions to Rapppahannock County and its people.
Eleven chapters in district VI were represented. Mrs. Carol O’Connor Oliver, head of the social studies department, Culpeper County High School, was given special recognition as winner of the Outstanding American History T^ache ■ contest in the state as presented by the Virginia NSDAR. Mrs. Wetsel, historian chairman, presented Mrs. Oliver with a Jefferson Cup. Recognition was given Mrs. Oliver at the state DAR meeting and also at the Culpeper County High School.
The speaker for this hour was Mrs. King. She again thanked everyone for such a great day and said that it was good to walk on the grounds her ancestors once tread. She reviewed the activities of the Jameson families and said that these were two of the many
