He said that he would not intend to build more than six buildings in addition to the buildings already on the property. Each building could hold two to three craftspeople. Kramer said that that was the information he was looking for.
BZA member James Swindler said that the people in the Sperryville area thought that the proposed crafts village would be a big improvement. The board members then considered the four findings necessary to grant a special use permit, and found all unanimously.
The permit was granted contingent upon the highway department’s approval of the entrance way. “I think that it is a very fine proposition, and I hope that you succeed,” said Chairman Lee Bird.
