In a recent column it was reported that William Hurd, treasurer of the state Republican Party, was among the GOP defectors who supported conservative Democrat Leslie Saunders in the 1983 Race in the 67th House District. Mr. Hurd says this was in error, and that he supported the Republican nominee, Del. George W. Jones. We regret not checking with Mr. Hurd before going to press.
