chael DeLouise of Washington, another 10th grade student from R.C.H.S. They were joined in the billiards room for a little teenage get-together with Ritchie Dodson of Viewtown (10th), Brett Anderson of Amissville (11th), Jody Lesh of Castleton (9th) and Jody’s sister, Susan.
The highlight of Nancy and Richard Schoppet’s weekend was a trip to Annapolis, Maryland, to celebrate Nancy’s birthday (we’ll keep you guessing on which one). The big, birthday was actually last week, but Nancy was down with the “bug”, so the event was rescheduled.
What an extraordinary, simply fantastic time they had!! Yachts, sailboats, motor boats, everywhere— couldn’t tell whether the worst traffic jams were on the streets or in the rivers!! Yuuummmm—ate plenty of that fresh fish and Maryland crabs!! Enjoyed the historic buildings, the quaint shops and very unique art and crafts.
And the “people watching” was really fun!! All kinds-stretched out on their vessels—nice tans, large fat ones, teeney tiny tots, a few Marilyn Monroes and Robert Redfords, the shriveled up kind, the elite, the rednecks, the college kids, the slobs, one or two Miss Americas, a Joe Atlas here and there, the average American, the average foreigner, you name it—they were all there. “People watching”— truly a fascinating past time.
