Annual Dinner At Castleton Fire Hall
Castleton Volunteer Fire Department’s annual dinner will be held on Friday, May 31 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the fire hall.
The menu consists of fried chicken, roast beef, variety of vegetables, an assortment of desserts and beverages. The price is $6.50 for adults and $3.50 for children.
Tickets may be purchased at the door. For additional information contact Peggy Woodward at 937-4065. The community is urged to support the dinner.
R.C.H.S. Graduation And Baccalaureate
In an effort to try to beat the excessive late afternoon heat build-up in the RCHS gym, RCHS Principal Robert Chappell has announced that this years graduation will be held in the morning instead. The graduation ceremonies will be held in the RCHS gym at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 8.
The Baccalaureate Service will be held in the RCHS gym on Sunday, June 2 at 7:30 p.m.
Open House For LPN9s At Germanna
The Nursing Department of Germanna Community College will be holding an Open House on campus June 5 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. for Licensed Practical Nurses interested in becoming Registered Nurses. For further information contact Ms. Dale Featherstone at Germanna, extension 304.
Ole Hollow Reunion
Families, friends and community members are invited to attend the annual Ole Hollow reunion on Sunday, June 23 at 1 p.m. at Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and a beverage.
