Mr. and Mrs. John Clark Jr., Amanda and Stacy visited Mr and Mrs. John Clark in Sperryville Sunday evening and later had supper at Roy Rogers in Warrenton for a Mother’s Day treat.
Mrs. Linda Clark was one of the chaperones for the fifth graders of the Rappahannock Elementary School on their field trip Thursday to D.C. Her son Stacy is a fifth grader. They rode the subway from Alexandria to D.C. and toured the Smithsonian Museum of National History, Museum of American History and viewed the Washington Monument.
Dinner guests Thursday evening of Mrs. Alice Beahm were Mr. and Mrs. John Clark Jr., Amanda and Stacy, Mrs. Sally Morgan and daughter Lanie.
Mr. and Mrs. George Bain were Mother’s Day guests of their children, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Griffey and children Jeremy and Danielle in Manassas.
L. V. Merrill was transferred last Wednesday from Fauquier Hospital to the Bon-Air Home in Stephens City. I know he would like to hear from his friends in Rappahannock. Mrs. Leon Bailey, Mark Bailey and Nina Norman visited Mr. Merrill Saturday.
Guests Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown, Amanda and Bobbie Jo were Mrs. Chloe Brown and Mrs. Ann Brown of Woodville. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brown called on the Browns Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. John Norman had dinner Friday night at the Chesapeake Bay Seafood House in Manasr
