Ms. Ellie Kreamer explained that the volunteers have done a number of projects with the students. They planted bulbs in the fall, traced leaves and colored them, planted seeds, arranged flowers, discussed gardening tools and how to plant a garden, made book marks by using dried pressed flowers between clear contact paper, forcebloomed forsythia, and made centerpieces arid swags for Christmas by using a styrofoam background decorated with boxwoods and greens.

Ms. Bain added, “Today they’re having their picture taken and putting it in the center of a card and then decorating the card with cut out flower pictures. ”
