The students always look forward to the volunteers coming. Student Michele Jenkins said, “I like for them to come. I like planting flowers. I like roses.”
The Junior Garden Club will have one more session this year to talk about butterflies so the students can watch out for them during the summer. The students were busily thinking of a name for their club to be decided upon at the last meeting.
“I like it when the flower ladies come because they bring pretty flowers. They took my picture today. They’re nice!” exclaimed student Thomas Brown.
