“It gave us a chance to do our own things,” student Alice Reeve commented about her school project.
The project was a tee shirt design contest open to all interested Rappahannock County Elementary School fifth grade students. Teacher Lois Atwood described the contest.
“I knew that the students were interested in tee shirts and I thought they would enjoy designing their own. I also thought it would be a good way for them to realize that art can be used later in life in designing shirts, cars, etc.,” Ms. Atwood explained.
