The Rappahannock-Rapidar Community Services Center is sur veying people to learn their awareness, thoughts and beliefs about substance abuse.

The center is responsible foi much of the substance abuse education, prevention and treatment in the five-county area of the Planning District. The survey will help the center determine where help is most needed for alcohol and drug abuse.

Responders are asked to answer anonymously 12 brief questions. More than 1,000 people have received the surveys by mail. Those who have already received them should mail the completed questionnaires to the Community Service Center at 401 S. Main St., Culpeper, 22701.
