He added that he feels that the carnival is steadily improving. Steve Click of Shenandoah Valley Amusements handled the rides this year, “and everyone seemed well satisfied with the amusements,” Mr. Leake said. “Lots of people are working hard, and everything is coming around.”
Mr. Burke and Greg Wayland, captain of Company 2, both added that all the members want to thank everyone for their support for the carnival. “Everyone is real pleased with the support of the community,” Mr. Leake agreed. “It’s been worth it,” he concluded.
