Forest Warden of Rappahannock County, was presented a 15-year service award when all personnel of the Virginia Division of F orestry met last week at Augusta Military Academy. The meeting was held from June 12 through 15.
Saturday morning A. H. Keyser spied a large red balloon hanging in the top of a cherry tree on his farm in Tiger Valley. He found a card attached to the balloon asking that the finder mail the card to Edgewood Recreation Park, Edgewood, Pa. The note was signed by Nancy Hiles with the explanation that a number of boys and girls had sent balloons aloft and the card returned with the most distant postmark would entitle the child who sent it to a prize.
