G. William Thomas, Jr., manager of the Richmond HUD Office, has announced that he is raising the fees for persons who perform FHA appraisals to $125 effective June 16. He based his decision to raise the appraisal fees on an analysis of appraisal fees offered by HUD in comparable market areas throughout HUD’s Region III — which includes Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and the District of Columbia — in addition to input from the Residential Committee of the Virginia
