The third annual Harmony Hollow 10K Run will be held Saturday, July 12, beginning at the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center south of Front Royal on Route 604, off Route 522.
The running event will again this year benefit of the American Heart Association. It is being sponsored by the Peoples Bank of Front Royal.
A new course laid out for this year’s run is a measured full 10,kilometers, beginning and ending on level surface. The gun at 8 a.m. will start runners along the bubbling brook of Happy Creek in Warren County, and the length of the race will be on hard-surfaced roads through rolling hills. There will be water stations at two and four miles and splits at 1, 3.1, and 5.2 miles.
