Postal Service Day to commemorate the official inauguration of the United States Postal Service, to bring the general public in closer contact with this service and to realize how to help the Postal Service better serve the community and individuals.

More than 60 boys and girls

from Rappahannock County attended 4-H Day Camp last week at Camp Hazel River near Boston. The 4-H Day Camp program is an educational and recreational activity sponsored by the Rappahannock County Extension Service.

Steven Allen Payne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie B. Payne of Flint Hill, has been accepted by Ferrum College for the 1976 fall semester, according to Ferrum’s Director of Admissions Bill Bowen.
