Realtor attends

RNMI seminar

Eileen M. Day, Washington Realtor, has just returned from a three- day course on marketing management. The course, held at Virginia Beach Plaza Hotel, was sponsored by the Realtors National Marketing Institute.

Its purpose was to provide skills in effective management programs, market analysis, advertising, public relations, and sales promotion. The senior instructor of the course was Ronald P. Noges, CRB, from Wayne, Pa. Mrs. Day learned how to plan and manage profit oriented marketing programs, market analysis, advertising, public relations, and sales promotion.

She also learned how to recognize the needs and opportunities present in this marketing area. During three days of lectures, activities, reading and discussion, Mrs. Day acquired skills to plan and carry out effective campaigns for specific real estate situations. The course also familiarized her with various aspects of the buying and selling markets.

“As a result of the course, I feel I have gained a greater awareness of modem marketing methods and will be able to better serve my market area,” she said.
