“Mr. Forman is not going to approve the closure plan without a piece of paper from this board saying you will have a landfill site by July 1, 1987,” Mr. Konick warned.
“Any thing we do in this regard should come directly from Mr. Forman, not indirectly,” Supervisor Miller said, pointing out that all the board’s information as to the Health Department official’s conditions comes secondhand. Mr. Miller also questioned whether the Supervisors should approve the 10-foot elevation. “The Board of Zoning Appeals issued the permit (for the landfill) originally.”
