The U. S. Postal Service awarded a contract June 3 for construction of a new main post office in Flint Hill.
Werner and Jane Krebser of Huntly will construct a 1,350 square foot post office and lease it to the Postal Service for an annual rental fee of $12,487. The basic term of the lease contract is 15 years with three five-year renewal options.
The new facility will be located on Route 522 in Flint Hill.
Completion is scheduled for early December.
