James Willis
graduates
James Stewart Willis III of Washington was among the graduate receiving degrees in commencement exercises May 31 at Averett College.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. James S. Willis, Jr., of Washington, Mr. Willis received a bachelor of science degree in psychology and management/psyschology.
The candidates for graduation were presented by Dr. Malcom Huckabee, vice president and dean of the college. Degrees were conferred upon the graduates by Dr. Frank R. Campbell, president of the college.
The commencement address was delivered by Dr. Randall Lolley, president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N. C.
Averett is a liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 1,000 men and women.
