Halloween Sock Hop
A Halloween sock hop sponsored by the SPTA will be held at the Rappahannock County Elementary School on Friday, October 31. Admission is $1 and only elementary students are invited. There will be a costume contest and a carved Jack-O-Lantem contest. Donations of baked goods will be greatly appreciated.
Parent Teacher Conference
Rappahannock’s two public schools are holding parent teacher conferences today, Thursday, October 23. Students will be dismissed at 2 p.m. Rappahannock County Elementary School and Rappahannock County High School teachers will be available for conferences from 2:30-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 this evening. Teachers will have supper from 5:00-6:00. Parents may pick up report cards during the conferences. RCHS does not require appointments for conferences. RCES does require appointments. Parents who have not made an appointment should call the RCES office at 987-8259.
