Mayor Morehouse explained that the ARB decided that paint colors are an important consideration in unifying the town’s architecture, hence the inclusion of a guideline concerning acceptable colors.

Mrs. Willis hastened to add ‘the paint companies have recreated ‘lines’ of historic colors. The applicants do not have to use those companies - they can use comparable colors.”
