In anticipation of his return every resource of Amissville was offered and made available. We are especially grateful for the loan of the hospital bed and emergency aid advice provided by the Amissville Kuritans. While our jobs must keep us away from our “home” our hearts and our gratitude reside •there with our friends and neighbors.' Thank you seems insufficient to expressing the feelings of relief and peace of mind we experience knowing that in our absence our parents are so lovingly cared for by their community. In their “little house by the side of the road” they are truly experiencing the.. .“friendship of their fellow man.”
