To the editor:
In your weekly quarter page where you commercialize religion, the syndicated “Sunday school” lesson told about a judge who was executed for taking a bribe, and his body was skinned to upholster the bench where the other judges sat in judgment. It went on to say “We shudder at such a method.” But I, for one, do not shudder at capital punishment for such a case. Many of the problems of our own country can be traced to dealing too leniently with malfeasance in public office.
