Mattie V. Lowery
Mattie Virginia Lowery, 79, formerly of Strasburg, died October 18 at the Herman Wilson Health Care Center, Gaithersburg, Md.
Mrs. Lowery was bom October 28, 1906, at Chester Gap, the daughter of the late John and Katie William Mahoney. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her husband, Cecil Charles Lowery of Sykesville, Md., and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted October 21 at the Stover Funeral Home, Strasburg, by the Rev. Alan B. Hungerford of Rockville, Md.
