Dedication service at Reynolds
Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church invites you to a dedication service for the “Pinky” Snead Carillon at 4 p.m. on Sunday, October 26.
Speakers on the program will be the pastor, Rev. Douglas Farmer and former pastors Paul Thompson, Harold E. Nicholson, A. William Harrison and Ronald Wiley.
Music will be provided by Jody Wingfield, organist, Barbara Sherman, pianist, and Jack Brown, soloist.
The carillon is in memory of Lydia Pierce Crabbe, known here as “Pinky”, who taught school for several years and later received her RN degree from the University of Virginia. She married Dr. J. P. Snead III, in whose office she was a nurse for many years.
4-H teen club to meet
The Rappahannock 4-H Teen Club is holding a meeting November 6 at 7 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington. This meeting is open to all teens interested in joining the 4-H club. Election of officers will be held.
