It’s a girl
Cheryl and Bill Vance of Newport News are proud to announce the birth of a daughter, Kathleen Aith, on October 10. She weighed six pounds and five ounces.
Proud grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. Vem Greenwood of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Settle of Flint Hill.

Warren Memorial Hospital is making every effort to assure that the children in Front Royal, Warren and Rappahannock counties have a safe Halloween by distributing plastic Trick or Treat bags with Safety Rules printed on them.
The Trick or Treat bags are being distributed to children in the public schools, church schools, day care centers, nursery schools, private schools and the children of Warren Memorial Hospital employees. The bags can do double duty as litter bags after Halloween.
