John S. Payne
John Smith Payne, 70, of Front Royal, died October 19 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Mr. Payne was born December 25, 1915, in Flint Hill, the son of the late Allie A. and Stella Presgraves Payne. His wife Ethel Virginia Payne predeceased him.
Surviving are a son Rodney Lee Payne of Alexandria, two daughters, Dorothy Ann Duncan and Beverly Jean Fisher, both of Brooksville, Fla., 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
