Mayor visits
third grade

RCES, 3rd grade
The Mayor came recently to tell the third grade about his trade. He makes clay pots in his spare time. He brought a plate along that had his name on it that he had made.
He told us about his trip here by train, he was excited about it, he said that he saw animals playing along the way. He saw a cow without a tail. He took pictures and told us to wait and go out and play and he would show us later. He must be a very brave person to wake up every morning and have to work with many different kinds of people. He said that he paid for his train and would have to leave Saturday. We became very sad that he had to leave so early. He may have to stay longer if the train is broken down.
