However, at the upcoming nine public hearings only construction needs of the primary and urban systems will be discussed. Projects on the secondary highway system will be addressed at separate public hearings to be scheduled jointly by the department’s resident engineers and county boards of supervisors. An additional $14.7 million is expected to be available for public transit.
A public hearing will be held at the Culpeper District office on Monday, November 3, at 9 a.m. The district office is located in Culpeper on Rt. 15, a half-mile,south of Rt. 3.
