Though frost appears in our section of the country much earlier, November’s full moon, which occurs at 7:12 a.m. on the 16th, is often referred to as the Frost Moon. Those who follow Indian lore prefer to call it The Moon of The Beaver. No matter what, it usually is a “cold” moon, a foreboding of the winter months ahead.
