1986/87 FUEL FACTOR PROCEEDING FOR THE POTOMAC EDISON COMPANY
On October 20, 1986, The Potomac Edison Company (“Potomac Edison”) filed an application with the State Corporation Commission for an increase in its fuel factor. The utility is proposing to increase its current fuel factor of 1.0080/kwh to 1.548C/kwh effective December 4, 1986. Potomac Edison has also filed written testimony and exhibits to support its proposal to reduce the rates to be paid for power purchased from cogeneration and small power production facilities.
